The Observatório Social is an Brasilian organization that studies and analyzes the behavior of multinational, national and state companies in relation to the fundamental rights of workers. These rights are assured principally by the International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions that deal with freedom of association, collective bargaining, child labor, forced labor, discrimination against gender and race, the environment, health and occupational safety. OECD Watch is an international network of NGO's promoting corporate accountability. The purpose of OECD Watch is to inform the wider NGO community about policies and activities of the OECD's Investment Committee and to test the effectiveness of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

Oxfam campaigns for policy and practice change on Fair Trade, Conflict and Humanitarian Response, and on issues such as Debt Relief, Poverty Reduction and Universal Basic Education. Issues are - amongst others - the Nike watch campaign and conflict diamonds.
