FIAN

FIAN is the international human rights organisation for the right to food. FIAN has consultative status with the United Nations. Our mission is to assist national and international struggles to realize the human right to adequate food through concrete action.
FIAN intervenes when the right to food is violated. This may be the case when people are unjustly evicted from their lands, when they are denied access to fishing-grounds or other productive resources or when they are paid below the minimum wage.

Friends of the Earth International

Friends of the Earth International is a federation of autonomous environmental organizations from all over the world. Their members, in 66 countries, campaign on the most urgent environmental and social issues of our day, while simultaneously catalyzing a shift toward sustainable societies.
FoEI is calling for binding corporate accountability - including rights for citizens and communities and liability and duties for corporations. This intiative intends to ensure corporations become properly accountable to citizens and that strong regulatory rules are put in place to check corporate abuses. Such measures are necessary to stop rampant excesses of corporate behaviour.

Friends of the Earth US

Friends of the Earth works with locally affected communities, environmental and human rights organizations, shareholders, and Wall Street to challenge corporations to become better global citizens. The activities concentrate in two areas:
FoE plays a leading role in a broad coalition of environmental, development, human rights, and labor organizations campaigning for International Right to Know legislation.
The Green Investments project is dedicated to making financial markets more capable of protecting the future of the earth and local communities by changing financial systems and practices.
